Technical Sales Representative – Water Transfer & Pumping Solutions
Hire Resolve is seeking an energetic and motivated professional to join our team as a Technical Sales Representative – Water Transfer & Pumping Solutions. Based in Cape Town, this permanent, field-based role is designed for a driven individual who thrives on building relationships, solving complex customer challenges, and actively developing new business across the Western Cape.
Role Overview
In this position, you will be responsible for managing an existing customer base while proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities. You will serve a diverse range of clients across the agricultural, industrial, mining, manufacturing, construction, civil engineering, and domestic sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities throughout the Western Cape.
- Build and nurture long-term professional relationships with clients.
- Assess specific customer requirements to recommend the most effective technical solutions.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from preparing quotations and following up on leads to closing deals.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide consistent market feedback to the team.
- Collaborate closely with internal staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality customer service.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate is a proactive “hunter” with a technical aptitude and a passion for sales. We are looking for the following:
- Proven external B2B sales experience, preferably within a technical environment.
- Strong ability to learn and articulate technical product details.
- Fluency in both English and Afrikaans.
- Confidence in engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders, including farmers, contractors, engineers, and municipal representatives.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
- Candidates from other technical sales backgrounds who are eager to learn and transition into this sector are highly encouraged to apply.
