The Recruitment People is currently partnering with a prominent client based in Cape Town to appoint a detail-oriented Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for a dedicated finance professional looking to take full ownership of the accounting function within a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will oversee a comprehensive range of financial tasks. Your daily and monthly responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and managing accurate management accounts.
- Handling the end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
- Performing detailed reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- A relevant BCom degree.
- At least 3 years of proven work experience in a similar accounting role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
