Short-Term Insurance Marketing Assistant – Kuruman
CareerCare-SA is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Short-Term Insurance Marketing Assistant to join our team in Kuruman. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our marketing initiatives and ensuring the smooth administration of our short-term insurance portfolio. We offer a competitive monthly salary ranging from R22,000 to R28,000, commensurate with your experience and professional background.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the marketing and sales team regarding short-term insurance products.
- Draft accurate quotations and prepare all necessary policy documentation.
- Act as a professional point of contact for clients, internal stakeholders, and insurance partners.
- Manage end-to-end client onboarding processes, policy renewals, and necessary amendments.
- Uphold high standards of compliance in accordance with FAIS and other relevant industry regulations.
- Maintain organized, up-to-date client records and insurance documentation.
- Deliver general administrative and marketing assistance to ensure operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Matric/Grade 12 certificate.
- Between 3 and 5 years of proven experience specifically within the short-term insurance industry.
- Strong working knowledge of both personal and commercial lines.
- Hands-on experience using broker CRM systems and various insurer portals.
- Practical exposure to major insurer platforms such as Santam, Hollard, Bryte, Old Mutual, or similar entities.
- A relevant FAIS qualification (NQF Level 4 or 5) is considered highly advantageous.
- Possession of an RE5 qualification is also viewed as a strong advantage for this position.
