Measured Ability is seeking a highly skilled SAGE X3 Finance and Procurement Implementation Lead (Functional) to spearhead the deployment, configuration, and integration of Sage X3 across our client’s organization. This is a critical role for a professional who thrives on leading complex ERP transformations and driving system adoption.
We are looking for someone with direct implementation experience, ideally gained while working for Sage or an accredited Sage business partner. You will act as the primary bridge between business objectives and technical delivery, ensuring the system is perfectly tailored to Finance, Procurement, and Operational requirements.
Key Objectives
ERP Implementation Delivery
- Deliver a fit-for-purpose Sage X3 solution that aligns with operational goals.
- Manage project milestones, ensuring the delivery remains within scope, quality standards, and budget.
- Champion best-practice ERP implementation methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
Systems Configuration & Integration
- Configure Sage X3 modules to support complex business processes.
- Lead technical integration between Sage X3 and the wider application ecosystem.
- Ensure the system architecture remains scalable and high-performing.
Governance, Data, & User Adoption
- Establish robust system controls, workflows, and approval structures.
- Direct data migration, cleansing, and validation to ensure total integrity.
- Drive change management, including training, documentation, and user support to ensure long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Lead the end-to-end Sage X3 implementation, acting as the primary subject matter expert for the project team and external vendors.
- Requirements & Design: Facilitate workshops to gather requirements, conduct fit-gap analyses, and translate business needs into functional specifications.
- System Configuration: Oversee the design of workflows, approval matrices, and overall module functionality.
- Testing & Stabilization: Develop test plans, lead SIT and UAT, and manage the hypercare phase post-go-live.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the liaison between the business, IT teams, and implementation partners, providing regular status updates to leadership.
- Compliance: Ensure all processes adhere to internal governance, audit requirements, and security standards.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, IT, Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant Sage X3 certifications are considered a significant advantage.
Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in ERP implementation, consulting, or systems analysis.
- Proven, hands-on experience implementing Sage X3.
- A successful track record of leading at least two full-cycle Sage X3 or major ERP rollouts.
- Expertise in the full project lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering through to post-go-live support.
- Experience in both business process optimization and technical system configuration.

Remuneration
