Junior Supply Chain Assistant
Time Personnel is currently seeking a motivated Junior Supply Chain Assistant to join a leading engineering products firm based in Germiston. Requirements
- Grade 12 qualification.
- 1–3 years of experience in administration, procurement, logistics, or a similar supply chain role.
- A Diploma or Certificate in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Procurement is considered an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience with SYSPRO or similar ERP systems.
- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to thrive under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and work effectively both independently and within a team.
- A proactive, eager-to-learn attitude toward the supply chain environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Place and capture local buyout orders.
- Process local and import purchase orders within SYSPRO and manage supplier correspondence.
- Manage the booking of both local and imported goods received in the system.
- Monitor outstanding supplier orders and provide regular updates to the sales team.
- Facilitate daily branch stock transfers and manage inter-branch requests.
- Maintain and update default bin locations and handle replenishment reports in SYSPRO.
- Support inventory administration, stock control, and the planning and execution of annual stock takes.
- Assist the Supply Chain Manager with daily operational tasks and general departmental administration.
- Provide support to other internal departments as needed.
