Sales Opportunity: External Sales Representative
Measured Ability is currently seeking a young, ambitious, and energetic go-getter to join our team in KwaZulu Natal. We are looking for a dedicated External Sales Representative to cover the eThekwini Central region, including Durban, Pinetown, and Umlazi. This position is perfect for a people-oriented individual who is passionate about sales, enjoys building customer relationships, and is eager to grow into a technical sales career. While technical knowledge is a distinct advantage, it is not mandatory for this role.
Key Responsibilities
As an External Sales Representative, you will be responsible for the end-to-end sales process and the growth of our market presence in the region. Your daily duties will include:
- Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Building strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Meeting and exceeding monthly sales budgets and targets.
- Conducting regular client visits and site assessments throughout the KZN area.
- Preparing detailed quotations and proposals with the support of our internal technical team.
- Coordinating installations, scheduling, and final project sign-offs.
- Maintaining accurate sales administration, reporting, and CRM updates.
- Representing the company professionally and strengthening our brand identity.

The ideal External Sales Representative is organized, disciplined, and capable of managing their own time and priorities effectively. You should be a confident communicator with the interpersonal skills required to thrive in a professional environment and the willingness to undergo training to evolve into a technical sales expert.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle are essential.
- Must be based at the Pinetown office with the ability to travel across the KZN area as required.
- 3–5 years of proven sales experience (technical sales experience is advantageous but not essential).
- Exceptional organizational and administrative skills.
- Professional communication and presentation abilities.
