QE Services is currently seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team in Bellville, Cape Town, on a contract basis. This role sits at the intersection of IT and Finance, requiring an individual who can bridge the gap between complex business needs and technical solutions. Responsibilities

• Consult with stakeholders to identify critical business problems and discover new opportunities for growth.
• Analyze and decompose business processes, evaluating their impact across the organization.
• Elicit, document, and maintain comprehensive business requirements and functional specifications.
• Assist in solution conceptualization, proposal drafting, and the development of business cases.
• Manage project workflows to ensure the successful and timely delivery of initiatives.
• Align all project outcomes with broader business strategies and internal solution governance.
• Collaborate closely with the Automation team to design and implement effective solutions.
• Monitor project progress to ensure final solutions consistently meet business expectations.
• Actively participate in Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Investigate production incidents and manage change requests in partnership with development teams.
• Partner with Project Management, Change Management, Training, Design, and Testing teams to deliver cohesive projects.
• Stay current with industry trends to identify ongoing opportunities for process and technology enhancements.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Commerce, Business Analysis, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Professional Business Analyst certification.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in a Business Analyst capacity.
• Proficiency in process modeling methodologies and tools, specifically Lean Six Sigma and/or Enterprise Architecture.
• Proven experience facilitating workshops and engaging with stakeholders across all levels of an organization.
• Demonstrated success working in Agile environments, including Scrum, product backlog management, and user story creation.
• Prior knowledge or practical experience with automation processes.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and techniques.
• Industry experience in short-term insurance is essential.
• A solid understanding of Operations Management principles.
