About the Role
Enigma and Mass Personnel (Pty) LTD is partnering with a leading FMCG organization to appoint a results-driven Sales & Distribution Manager (FMCG) for their operation in Nelspruit (Mbombela). As a key member of the commercial team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, overseeing distribution operations, and leading high-performing sales teams to ensure excellence in market execution across the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly sales and distribution targets consistently.
- Drive sustained market share growth while identifying and securing opportunities for new outlet development.
- Manage, mentor, and develop Sales Representatives through proactive coaching and on-the-job training.
- Ensure effective trade execution, merchandising standards, promotional activity, and brand visibility.
- Monitor and manage distribution costs, operational expenses, and trade debtors to ensure profitability.
- Prepare detailed sales reports, comprehensive business plans, and long-term strategic plans.
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key customers.
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant safety, health, and environmental standards.
Minimum Requirements
- A Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Studies, Economics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 4 years of proven experience in sales and distribution within an FMCG environment.
- A valid driver’s licence.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- A solid understanding of route-to-market principles and retail trade execution.
- Computer literacy, with proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to work independently.
