Opportunity: 5 x Utility 2 Operators

Measured Ability is currently recruiting for 5 x Utility 2 Operators to join our team in the Eastern Cape, specifically within the Nelson Mandela Bay area (Port Elizabeth / Uitenhage). We are looking for skilled individuals who are ready to contribute to a high-performing manufacturing environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric (NQF 4).
• Trade Tested Artisan qualification (NQF 5).
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience as an operator within a manufacturing setting.
• Basic computer literacy, with experience in MS Office and SAP/ERP systems being highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities for 5 x Utility 2 Operators

• Set up, operate, and maintain production machinery in strict accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Monitor equipment performance to ensure optimal production output and consistent product quality.
• Execute basic maintenance tasks and perform fault-finding to minimize equipment breakdowns and operational downtime.
• Oversee the effective operation of extraction, cooling, and related production systems.
• Maintain accurate production logs, job cards, and all required operational documentation.
• Adhere strictly to internal safety protocols, housekeeping standards, and company compliance requirements.
• Report equipment faults, operational risks, and any concerns to management promptly.
• Foster and maintain positive working relationships with all colleagues and stakeholders.
