Key Duties and Responsibilities
As a member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for maintaining the high standards our clients expect. Your primary duties will include:
- Performing comprehensive vehicle servicing, maintenance, and complex mechanical repairs.
- Conducting accurate fault-finding and utilizing diagnostic equipment to identify technical issues.
- Ensuring all mechanical repairs are completed efficiently, safely, and to a superior standard.
- Upholding workshop procedures and contributing to a culture of high workmanship and reliability.
- Maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction through professional service.
- Collaborating effectively with team members to ensure smooth workshop operations.
Requirements for the Qualified Automotive Technician
To be considered for this role, you must be a hands-on professional with a strong technical background. The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Must be a Trade-Tested or Qualified Motor Technician.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in vehicle servicing and repairs.
- Proven qualifications or specialized experience in vehicle diagnostics and fault-finding.
- Demonstrated mechanical and technical skills, including experience with both petrol and diesel engines.
- Fluent in both Afrikaans and English, as communication is essential for this position.
- A professional attitude, a strong work ethic, and keen attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a dealership or professional workshop environment will be considered a distinct advantage.
- Motor Mechanic experience is highly regarded.
Compensation
The salary for this position is offered between R17 000 and R20 000 per month, commensurate with your specific qualifications and relevant industry experience.
