Measured Ability is seeking a driven and results-oriented Security Sales Representative to join our team in the East Rand, covering Bedfordview, Germiston, and Isando. Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12) is compulsory.
• Valid South African Driver’s License.
• Minimum of 2 years of proven outbound B2B and B2C sales experience specifically within the security industry.
• Sound working knowledge of physical guarding structures, site post orders, and armed response operations.
• Technical proficiency in security systems, including IP/Analog CCTV, alarm systems, electric fencing, and access control.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.

Business Development and Prospecting

• Proactively source and generate new qualified leads through cold calling, door-to-door sales, site visits, and industry networking.
• Conduct comprehensive security risk assessments and site audits for residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
• Build and maintain a robust, active pipeline of prospective clients across our primary security verticals.

Solution Selling and Proposal Management

• Present customized security proposals that integrate physical guarding and armed response with advanced technology solutions like CCTV, electric fencing, and access control.
• Draft accurate commercial quotations and tenders in alignment with company pricing models and profit margin standards.
• Skillfully navigate client objections and successfully close contracts to achieve consistent monthly sales targets.

Client Relationship and Account Management

• Act as the primary point of contact from the initial sales cycle through to client onboarding and final service deployment.
• Coordinate seamless handovers of CCTV/alarm installations and guarding deployments to our operational teams.
• Perform post-installation follow-ups to ensure long-term client satisfaction and identify potential upsell or referral opportunities.

Reporting and Administration

• Maintain precise records of all sales activities, pipeline status, and client interactions within our CRM system.
• Submit detailed weekly and monthly sales forecasts alongside performance tracking reports to management.
