Application Support – Workforce Software at Sabenza IT & Recruitment

DCV Sabenza IT and Recruitment is seeking an experienced professional to join a high-impact team focused on providing Application Support – Workforce Software in Johannesburg. We are looking for skilled individuals with hands-on WFS (ADP) experience to join our Application Management Support (AMS) team.

This is a high-visibility role delivering functional and technical support for Workforce Software within a mature, SLA-driven managed services environment. You will serve as a key point of contact for the ongoing stability and optimization of the platform, resolving incidents, fulfilling service requests, and driving continuous improvement across scheduling, time and attendance, and workforce processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Incident & Service Request Management: Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve WFS incidents and service requests within established SLAs. You will provide expert support to users regarding scheduling, time tracking, and general workforce queries.
  • Change Requests & Enhancements: Support configuration changes and small-scale improvements. You will be responsible for impact analysis, effort estimation, and testing for all approved changes.
  • WFS Functional & Technical Support: Provide comprehensive support across core capabilities, including workforce scheduling, time and attendance processing, reporting and analytics, as well as configuration and scripting.
  • System Monitoring & Stability: Monitor system performance, integrations, and interfaces to proactively identify risks, recurring issues, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Testing & Release Support: Execute functional and integration testing while supporting deployment and release activities.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration: Engage with ADP/WFS and internal teams, including SAP AMS, to resolve issues end-to-end and maintain service continuity.
  • Knowledge & Continuous Improvement: Contribute to documentation, knowledge transfer, process refinements, and automation initiatives.

Requirements

  • Hands-on functional or technical experience with Workforce Software (WFS/ADP), particularly in Time & Attendance, custom reporting, and the Job Scheduler.
  • A solid understanding of workforce scheduling and time management processes.
  • Strong incident analysis and technical troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Previous exposure to AMS or ITIL-based delivery models.
  • Demonstrated experience in reporting, scripting, or system configuration.
  • A relevant degree qualification.
