On Line Personnel is seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team in Port Elizabeth as a Claims Assessor (Motor Industry). This role is perfect for a highly technical individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a deep understanding of aftersales service systems and automotive repair processes.
#### Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
* A valid Motor Mechanic or Auto Electrician Trade Certificate.
* A Master or Diagnostic Technician qualification.
* A National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering will be considered a significant advantage.
* A minimum of 5 to 10 years of hands-on technical work experience.
* Extensive expertise in mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis, with a proven track record of finding effective technical solutions.
* Demonstrable experience engaging with dealers and customers within a retail environment.

#### Key Performance Areas
The successful Claims Assessor (Motor Industry) will be responsible for the following core duties:
* Overseeing OEM Warranty and Maintenance Plan operations to ensure dealer claims are accurate, fully compliant, and cost-effective.
* Ensuring strict adherence to OEM technical standards and contributing to continuous improvement by analyzing and escalating claim and repair issues.
* Assessing and validating Warranty and Maintenance Plan claims in strict alignment with brand standards.
* Monitoring the dealer network to ensure compliance with approved warranty policies, technical procedures, and labor time guidelines.
* Controlling claim and repair quality through ongoing validation and system-based corrections.
* Engaging proactively with dealers to resolve warranty and maintenance-related matters efficiently.
* Providing clear guidance and coaching to dealers to improve the accuracy of claim and repair quality, as well as overall policy adherence.
* Supporting internal stakeholders through detailed reporting, risk identification, and audit activities.
