Operations Manager of Management Personnel in Cape Town
Time Personnel is seeking an experienced leader to step into the role of Operations Manager of Management Personnel. In this pivotal position, you will be based in our Cape Town office, reporting directly to the Director. We are looking for a high-caliber professional capable of mentoring a multi-tier management team and overseeing the workflows of their respective remote departments. Your primary focus will be to ensure that leadership practices and data system operations remain efficient, accurate, and aligned with organizational goals.

We require someone comfortable working within a multi-tier organizational structure, coordinating effectively across managers, team leads, and operators.
- Extensive background in operations management.

- Critical thinking and decision-making abilities with a highly organized approach to work.
- Proficiency in reporting, spreadsheet management, and workflow systems such as Jira.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering training and capability-building initiatives.

- Experience in data and operational process improvement is considered highly advantageous.
Duties and Responsibilities
As the Operations Manager of Management Personnel, you will be responsible for the health and productivity of the entire department. You will act as a bridge between senior leadership and operational teams to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Lead, mentor, and actively develop Team Leads and Managers.
- Take ownership of daily operational quality, ensuring validation, accuracy, and consistency across all functions.
- Design and improve quality control frameworks, workflow processes, and training structures to ensure the function remains scalable.
- Monitor team performance against KPIs, tracking error and exception rates to proactively address trends.
- Manage escalations beyond the Team Lead level and remove operational blockers to delivery.
- Manage pipeline and capacity across teams, balancing workloads against available resources and deadlines.
- Optimize workflows by identifying inefficiencies, implementing strategic changes, and measuring their impact on accuracy.
- Apply Agile practices to support Team Leads, ensuring delivery is organized and visible.
- Streamline and oversee training programs for both new hires and existing personnel.
- Provide regular reports on progress, risks, and strategic recommendations to the Director to support resourcing and prioritization.
- Maintain strong cross-functional collaboration with the Engineering, Customer Support, and other internal teams.
