Senior Business Process Analyst
DataTech Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Process Analyst to join a significant global transformation programme. Based in Cape Town, Western Cape, this role is critical to the success of an initiative spanning 22 countries. We are looking for a professional who thrives on detail and possesses the ability to translate complex, inconsistent sales processes into clear, validated documentation that will serve as the foundation for future global standardisation.
About the Client
Our client is a large-scale global organisation currently executing a major transformation across its sales and order management functions. This is high-impact work; your process mapping will directly influence the decisions that reshape how the business operates worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate one-to-one discovery sessions with business stakeholders across Sales and Opportunity-to-Order functions.
- Map current-state processes in SAP Signavio using BPMN standards.
- Ensure all process maps are accurately validated by the personnel performing the day-to-day operations.
- Analyze regional and international process variations to understand the underlying causes of inconsistency.
- Identify and document inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and operational gaps.
- Present actionable findings to project leadership and key stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of a durable global process repository.
- Ensure documentation quality is sufficiently robust to support future process mining and automation initiatives.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Senior Business Process Analyst with the ability to work autonomously from the start.
- Advanced proficiency in BPMN and a proven track record of producing reliable, high-quality documentation.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Signavio, or comparable tools such as ARIS, IBM Blueworks, or Visio, with the agility to master Signavio quickly.
- Deep knowledge of Opportunity-to-Order, Lead-to-Cash, or Sales Operations processes.
- Demonstrated history of success in large-scale business transformation programmes.
- Experience navigating complex, multi-country stakeholder environments.
- The critical judgment to differentiate between ideal process design and actual operational reality.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the disciplined approach required to deliver within a six-month project window.
- Advantageous: SAP Signavio Process Intelligence or process mining experience, Salesforce/CRM exposure, CPQ or contracting knowledge, and a background in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
