Financial Manager (CA) SA

Career Minded is currently seeking a hands-on, commercially astute Financial Manager (CA) SA to join our team in Sandton, Johannesburg. We are looking for a dedicated professional to take full ownership of financial performance, reporting, internal controls, and commercial support across the business. Key Responsibilities

• Take the lead on monthly management reporting, in-depth financial analysis, and variance reporting.
• Drive the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning cycles.
• Partner closely with operational leadership to actively improve profitability, cost management, and working capital efficiency.
• Oversee the overall integrity of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Strengthen the company’s financial controls, governance frameworks, and audit readiness.
• Identify opportunities to implement process, reporting, and system improvements.
• Provide vital financial input into pricing strategies, tenders, contracts, and broader commercial decision-making.
• Lead, mentor, and support the finance team to ensure high performance and professional development.

Minimum Requirements

• Qualified CA(SA) designation is essential.
• Two to five years of post-article experience.
• Proven expertise in operational finance and management accounting.
• Demonstrable track record in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to act as a business partner to operational stakeholders.
• Experience in designing or maintaining financial controls, reporting structures, and process improvements.
• Exceptional leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• The ability to thrive and operate effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Remuneration

• The salary range for this role is between R80,000 and R100,000 per month.
