Time Personnel is currently seeking a detail-oriented, solution-driven Sales Administrator to join a prominent technical company based in Westlake Business Park. In this position, you will be the backbone of the sales operations team. We are looking for an experienced individual from a B2B environment who is committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and providing seamless support to ensure our sales functions run efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate, complemented by a formal qualification or certification in sales support or administration.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a technical, business-to-business sales environment.
- Strong commercial acumen paired with exceptional organizational and administrative capabilities.
- Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in the MS Office suite, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and a consistent typing speed.
- Demonstrated competency in data research and analytics.
- A solid understanding of CRM and ERP systems, as well as the end-to-end B2B sales cycle.
- Highly self-motivated, with a logical approach to commercial decision-making and a sharp focus on results.
- Familiarity with Adobe software and an understanding of POPI/privacy legislation will be considered a distinct advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end customer quotation process, ensuring all documentation is accurate, professional, and delivered on time to support revenue growth.
- Act as the primary point of contact for sales and customer inquiries, providing real-time support and resolving issues as they arise.
- Manage the administrative onboarding of new customers and maintain precise data records.
- Support the business development team by qualifying inbound leads and managing website inquiries.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across the technical and procurement departments to clarify RFQs and ensure project milestones are met.
- Conduct thorough quality checks on all outgoing quotes to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Coordinate the internal quoting process and proactively follow up with sales team members to bring outstanding quotes to a conclusion.
- Facilitate the completion and distribution of NDAs and supplier/customer onboarding documentation.
- Maintain the National Quote Sheet and assist with stock management and sales forecasting as required.
- Coordinate special projects and contribute to the development of strategies aimed at enhancing service levels, operational efficiency, and overall business profitability.
- Identify potential bottlenecks in work processes and propose proactive solutions to improve cost-efficiency.
